We want you to know that your Benefit Fund is fully operational, and we are available for our members questions and concerns. While we are not accepting walk-ins currently, we are answering the phones and emails Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Please call the Fund at 631 319-4099 or email at inquiry@scmebf.org if you have any questions or concerns. Your call should be answered immediately, but if you do leave a message please note that the Staff member who calls you back will most likely be calling from their home or cell phone; please allow private or restricted calls.
We are processing claims and sending out both vouchers and checks. Please have patience as we are backed up on prescription reimbursements but are processing these as quickly as possible.
Most Benefit Fund forms and documents (except for vouchers, they must be printed at the Fund office), can be requested or downloaded and printed off of our website at www.scmebf.org. We have temporarily waived any notary stamp needed on any applications submitted. Credit card payments can be made online or by phone; checks can be mailed in as usual.
